The Ethicon ETHILON™ Nylon Suture is a sterile, non-absorbable, monofilament surgical suture composed of polyamide (nylon), designed for reliable wound closure where long-term tensile strength and minimal tissue reactivity are required. This configuration features a 2-0 (3 Ph. Eur.) suture size with a 30 in (75 cm) strand length and a 36 mm 3/8-circle reverse-cutting (FSLX) needle, enabling precise penetration and controlled cutting through dense tissue.
