The Ethicon ETHILON® Nylon Suture is a sterile, non-absorbable, black monofilament surgical suture composed of polyamide (nylon), designed for precise wound approximation where minimal tissue reaction and durable tensile strength are required. This configuration features a 6-0 (0.7 metric) suture size with an 18 in (45 cm) strand length and a P-1 needle (11 mm, 3/8-circle reverse-cutting), offering excellent control and sharp penetration in delicate tissue.
