Ethicon® PROLENE™ Polypropylene Suture – 7-0, RB-3 Needle, 24 in (60 cm)

The Ethicon® PROLENE™ Polypropylene Suture (REF 8206) is a sterile, non-absorbable, monofilament surgical suture engineered for precise tissue approximation and long-term tensile strength. Manufactured from polypropylene, PROLENE™ sutures are chemically inert, resistant to degradation, and designed to minimize tissue reactivity, making them suitable for a wide range of surgical applications requiring durable wound support.

This configuration features 7-0 (0.5 Ph. Eur.) suture material attached to an RB-3 reverse-cutting needle, optimized for delicate soft-tissue handling and controlled penetration. The 24-inch (60 cm) strand length provides sufficient working length for fine surgical closure, particularly in microsurgical and cardiovascular procedures.
